Day 7 has been long. Along with our internships, we are taking a British Life and Culture class. It really is very interesting, but we had two lectures back-to-back and then had to watch a movie -- all in the same classroom. Liz & another girl next to me, Lisa, both fell asleep during the lectures and the movie. Bahaha. The man giving the lecture was so nice and knowledgeable but yet again, had a speech impediment. He stuttered about every twelve words. Nothing against stuttering, but I have a hard time focusing on anything but that. Liz agreed -- so, she fell asleep. Ha. We watched Brideshead Revisited and it was an excellent movie. I definitely suggest that you see it! It gave us a sneak peek of Oxford since we are going there on Friday.
After that, we all rode the tube over to the London Eye. The capsules had room for about twenty people and we had fun taking pictures of the panoramic view of London. It is a great way to see an overview of the city as a whole. We had dinner in again tonight and are just downloading pictures and resting up for our long day at Wimbledon tomorrow!
Oh yeah, I was the one that tripped/leaped today. The girls got a kick out of it. :(
